It was a really bright, cheerful day, when they laid Scott Summers to rest. Everyone had turned out for the funeral, and Jean was sobbing uncontrollably near his coffin. Logan goes to comfort her, and in the process, he knocks over Scott’s coffin!!!!!111 Jean starts sobbing, clutching Scott’s unmoving body.
“Enough of this crap!” The professor says, shoving Jean away from Scott’s body. “Logan, I want to you kick Scott in the head, right now.”
“…?” Logan raises an eyebrow while squinting one eye. He shrugs, and kicks Scott right in the jewels.
“Not that head!” The professor glares at Logan. Logan just smirks and kicks Scott in the head. Scott then stirs to life as if someone had pushed his re-set button!!!11
“Why does my special spot hurt so much?” He whines groggily. “Where am I?!”
“Try thinking back Scott… just try…” The Professor says, patting him on the head.
“Oh! I remember now!” Scott says, grinning while everyone gasps.
“Really?” Jean asks.
“NOT!” Scott shouts and starts laughing. “Hahahahaha”

“I had Logan jumpstart your reset button Scott, you may get progressively dumber each time… but… it’s something that must happen.”
“Huh?” Scott asks, “I died?”
“You also won’t remember dying…” The professor finishes.
“Oh. Okay. I’m hungry.”
“Let’s get you something to eat then.” Jean says, leading Scott away.
“Wow, you’re pretty Jean.” Scott says, drooling over himself.
“I know.” Jean smiles.
