I like Marilyn Manson... (but I think I like his older works better then the newer ones). I also know a lot of people call him different things, but thats because he's very very different from what people view as normal... and people do have different views on whats normal. He may be strange, yes thats true... but he is not perdictable at least. My favorite song from the band is Dope Hat by the way. ^_^

Marilyn Manson definately in my top 5 favorite artists. He tells the world how he sees issues, not how everyone else wants him to see them. In a way, hes like Picasso. Some people may think hes insane, but they only think that because they're close minded and aren't open to other peoples opinions.
I love his remake of "Tainted Love". Definately one of his best songs. Antichrist Superstar is the only cd of his that I have, but ive heard its the best he ever released.

I think Marilyn Manson is pretty good, but not amazing. His music is based soley on his perceptions, which I think is good, but personally i find all the sentiments a bit too exagerated... It's good for a cathartic effect listening to it though. It helps keep me calm and sane, because its kinda the same sentiments i hold but more exagerated.

As for Marilyn Manson as a person... I think he looks a tiny bit silly, but as a famous singing-type star person thats ok :)

I do like Manson's music. I think his music videos, however morbid, psycologically terrifying, and dark they are, are pure creative genious. His music is good (The rythms, the notes, the words are all very intriguing.)
Some of his stuff is offensive, yes, but if you take MOST things in the world of media nowadays, then you wont get enjoyment out of most of it. If you dont like the song for more than a few reasons, just dont listen to that one. That doesnt mean the rest arent good.
Now, I love his music and videos. HE is another story. I'm not too sure how much I actually can tolerate Manson himself....but I respect him, so its all good :)

Marilyn Manson grew up in a CATHOLIC SCHOOL. I read an interview with him and he said during lunch, when the whole schools was praying for the food to be blessed, he'd steal money from the girls purses. Hahaha.... He is very smart though, you can definately tell that from his interviews. I also respect him for that.
I love his music though. Tainted Love was awesome. Personal Jesus, too.

Personally, I like Marilyn Manson. He's fun, creative and different. He's not like your everyday popstar or rapstar, his music is awesome and really good to listen to when your down or depressed.

If he could be summed up in one word.. it would be , Shallow. If you want a good example of how shallow he can get, he sued his former bandmates because they wanted to re-release an old album of theirs. Why sue someone you worked with for so long? Because he does'nt want his old "sound" comming back to haunt him.

It wasn't that he didn't want his old sound to haunt him. It's because one of his lousy ex-bandmates stole artwork from Manson and tried to claim it as his.

I am not allowed to listen to Marilyn Manson; in fact, I'd probably get grounded for even listening to a song of his.But I still managed to sneak a few of his cd's and keep them hidden. The video for "The Beautiful People" while slightly freaky, was a work of art in itself. I love how this man thinks, and how he makes music. I will be a Manson fan for some more time, as far as I can tell.

He is beyond my favirote artist, and i will forever love him, i dont care what you people think of him, or how you sterotype him. Manson is the next thing to god of metal music. And as for the people that say he is going to hell, he knows that and infact loves it. Qoute the title "Antichrist". I reccomend his main website to all of his fans, its is a must see.
