Ew, no. Big ears and bald head doesn't work. We should vote of crews, not just captains and first officers! Whoever Kirk's crew(never watched) was and Picards! Honestly, with Warf, Troy, Riker, Picard and OF COURSE Data, you just couldn't lose!

Ok... in truth, Picard and Riker make a good team. Sure, they fought the Borg, sure, they have the Enterprise-E, and sure, they have more advanced technology, but as to Kirk and Spock... well, for one thing, Spock is a Vulcan, and might I remind you that he met Picard in person? Vulcans are basically superhumans. Higher IQ, higher strength, higher stamina, higher values... you can't go wrong with a Vulcan. And Kirk? James Tiberius Kirk... "the man, the legend", as Terran's custom title says. Kirk was around long before Picard, and he, too, met Picard in person. Kirk is a legend, a folk hero, a man of epic proportions... he's practically a god. Picard is on the rise, true, but he has quite a ways to go before he reaches the social status that Kirk has attained.

xD I started this thread, so my opinion's going to be somewhat biased... but I would definitely suggest Kirk and Spock. I always did like ST:TOS better than ST:TNG.

That is typical... however, I feel I must answer this question. I believe Kirk could easily acquire more women, alien or not, than Riker. Besides, Riker married Troi, so he can no longer dash about the galaxy picking up "hot alien chicks".

Kirk and Spock, Picard and Riker seem to be equel at most points. Spock and Kirk have funny comments because of the culture difference, and the vulcans lack of emotions.
