View Full Version : Huh? My rep didn't raise.

Well, I donated 400 rupees to someone to try to get my Reputation out of the hole. But after doing so, my rep didn't raise. It's still at -11. Did it get disabled after *cough* certain members abused it?

my rep didn't raise.. sure looks like it's diabled for now..
oh, well.. may the higher powers help us all..

If it's been disabled, I can finally ask - how did they DO it? Here I was just donating out to people to raise it, then suddenly vooosh! People had their reps maxed out O-o

It is a pity that it doesn't raise you up anymore, since that takes the reason to do it out for a lot of people.. I'll keep doing it anyway, though =P

Heh, the Max-Out was me and Han. We discovered a little loop-hole in the system and took it to our advantage.. But then again, take a look at our current rep and you will see the consequence :3

It wasn't just two people, but yes you can no longer raise your reputation by donating Rupees. Sorry, You'll just have to be nice to people and get them to give you good rep.

I hope you guys do decide to bring it back, because I'm sure there's a few mods who wouldn't mind looking for people doing that again.

But then again, I think there should be like a 20 min lock after a donation of 1000 or more to the same person, cumulative as well.

Wouldn't that solve it?

That's a good idea.

But yeah, lemme explain Min. I meant that looking through the donations thing to check if people were abusing it. Because I check through everyonce in awhile to see who's doing what, stealing from who, donating to whom... Cos I'm nosy. So I meant to say that I'm sure there would be some mods or users who wouldn't mind bringing it to our attention, if someone started to do that again, if you allowed it to count towards rep.
