Yay! I've never seen the show, just read the manga. But, I <3 it! My fav character is Shuichi! Yay! The end.

Ah, the anime is awesome ^_^ . But they start it at a later point than the manga. The manga starts with Shuichi in high school, but the anime starts with him already having a deal with the record company.
It is only 13 eps long, but is still good.
My favorite character is Eiri. I like EirixShuichi pairing ^_^

Yes I know. I like all of Eiri Yuki, not only his looks, but his personality and demeanor too.
Yuki is just cool overall ^_^ . Same thing for K, Hiro, and Touma.

The same thing goes for any guy I like. Examples being Naraku and Sesshoumaru, they look good, I like their personalities, demeanor, and they are just plain badass.

No, Tohma looks 13... So does Shuichi. And, for the most part, Ryuichi. It's like they all have what I call the Omi Complex (named after Omi from Weiss Kreuz)...they hit 12 or 13 and stop aging. >_<

So, Sess has seen the Remixes, too, eh? Hehehe. Although, the pairing of Hiro and his brother disturbs me... Same with the pairing of Tatsuha and Eiri... *shudders* No incest for me, thanks... Bleh.

The show is not really THAT gay. It is mild for a yaoi show. The only thing they really do (in the anime) is kiss, plus some suggestive stuff. It doesn't really show much. The manga goes into a little bit more detail, but is otherwise the same as the anime--unless you are talking about the remixes, which are hardcore.

The show isn't about their uh...nightime activities, it is more about the romance. ^^;

Hmmmm...you forgot to mention that Touma is the one who REALLY tries to split Yuki and Shuichi up...Taki was just the appetizer bad guy. Well, not that Touma is really all that bad...just...trying to help, but getting in the way instead of helping...

Yes, Gravitation is the story about a fledgling singer (Shuichi), his band (Bad Luck), his love interest (Eiri Yuki) who is also a famous romance novelist, and his idol (Ryuichi Sakuma) of Nittle Grasper....make sense? Good :P

Also thrown in is a stereotypical gun-toting violent American (ex-CIA?) person, K-san. And the "best friend who may want to be more" person Hiroshi A.K.A. Hiro.

Who am I forgetting...ah yes...Touma. He is married to Yuki's older sister but may actually also like Yuki ( o.0 ) . He is the manager of the record label which is producing Shuichi's music (N-G I think). He's also the cousin of one of the member's of Shuichi's band (Fujisaki) and he eventually tries to break Shuichi and Yuki up for Yuki's health...Did I mention he's a former member of Nittle Grasper? Ok, confused? I would be if in ur shoes ^_^. It is a complicated story, but once you get the hang of all the love triangles and connections it is really really cool and definetly worth a watch and read.

It is only a 13 ep anime and is not syndicated in the US yet. You can only see it if you buy or rent it. The manga has more depth and is at least 9 volumes long (I haven't got to the end yet).

It is only a 13 ep anime and is not syndicated in the US yet. You can only see it if you buy or rent it. The manga has more depth and is at least 9 volumes long (I haven't got to the end yet).

Yeah! When I saw it, I was like..what the hell isn't Shuichi suppose to be in Highschool, but no..they had to cut that part out! Excel Saga is hilarious! I was laughing my az off watching that. I only have one issue of the manga tho (volume 2).

not spam - I know! I was sooo sad when I found that out. I've only seen up to episode 3, but I've read a lot of the manga. I know it goes up to 9 volumes at least. I haven't checked up on it lately, but that's where it was last time I did check. The manga has a lot more depth and more *ahem* juicy stuff in it.

There are also Gravitation Remixes which were not done by Maki Muramaki, and they are straight up smut. I haven't gotten those yet, but I plan on it.

So K-san went up to Eiri and was like "You'd better be nice or I'll blow your head off!" then he got on a nearby roof and when Eiri started being a little cold to Shuichi he shot at him through the window. O, god it was hilarious. Needless to say, Yuki was all sugar and spice for the rest of the night.

When Hiroshi told Yuki what happened he got so pissed off he went to the studio and beat up Ma-kun, and punched the wall by Taki's head. That's when Taki tells him "You have the eyes of a killer." This relates to something in Eiri's past *shifty eyes*

-On a lighter note: I just got volume 2 of the anime ^____^ . I was on a field trip yesterday in Miami and we went to a giant mall-I forget the name-and I got to go into Spec's Music and look around. I immediately zoomed in on the 'G' in the anime section, and low and behold there it was in all of its shining perfection, Gravitation volume 2. *shiny eyes* :D It was only $8 too. What a bargain! I know it may not seem like much to anybody else, but to me going to a mall that has actual selection is very exciting. I live in a rural area where there is basically nothing. I can't even order anime from any of the stores here ;_; . That would be okay if I was allowed to use the internet to shop, but I'm not. So, it is always a good thing for me when I can go anywhere that has a decent selection of anime stuff. The DVD came with a V.I.P. pass, did any of you get that with yours? I love it! I'm wearing it right now, and I plan on wearing it to school too. -return to the mud fight!

It's so freakin hard to find number 3! x.x; I've got 1 and 2, and I'm gonna get 3(if I can find it) and 4 this weekend! Then it'll be complete!
