A bird is riding the wind, being a bird
The wind blows to the sky, being the wind
I want to submit it but there are 5 Kanjis in the test I don't know.

JK, but my translation would be:
"The bird became a bird riding through the wind
The wind became a wind blowing through the sky"

I think your translation is kind of missing the "になった" part, but other then that it's ok i guess (There's not much room for mistakes anyway)
