Wh00, free time so I'm posting.

Er... At the moment, since I just recently had enough money to spend on manga (yay, got a job,) I've only read Ai Yori Aoshi and Snow Drop.

I plan to read Kill Me, Kiss Me and Kare Kano. My friend is also trying to get me to read Fruit Baskets. I'm not too sure if I'll like it though, heh.

Battle Angel Alita is the penultimate manga for me. With magnificent artwork by Yukito Kishiro, a deep phylisophical storyline and characters you can really attach itself to, it's a supirior masterpiece.

Not being much of a manga reader myself, I'll have to go with the few that have caught my eye, including Basara (with the anime, Legend of Basara), a tale of a handful of characters (*excellent* characters) all destined to bring about a revival of the earth and crossing paths along the way, Violinist of Hameln, which is...oh so, so odd there do not exist words for it, and Earthian for some of the most gorgeous art I've ever seen.

Eh, that isn't always true. Sometimes, I think, the manga can come off as cold in the manner it's told/presented, whereas that's improved in the anime. And I have almost always found the characters to be more layered and interesting in their anime counterparts.

Yeah, well...translations can be just as bad ;p Besides, I'm really talking about originals/subs, as that's what I prefer.

Yea but thats he exact word for word translation though! When they change it to English versions for our audience the change the wording for us to understand easier, but by doing that they leave out some inportant text sometimes!
