Excellent, violent and sleazy cult adult animated horror fantasy thriller from Yoshiaka Kawajari of Ninja Scroll/Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust with great animation by Madhouse.

It's basically Society (1989), The Thing, Ghostbusters and Basic Instinct all rolled into one and it's about humankind who shares with shapeshifting beings from a shared dimension called The Black World yet peace has been around for a thousand years as every 300 years a peace treaty must be signed, now Black World radicals want to kill an important guest of honor who wants to make the treaty as two agents one human and one black worldian must protect the guy.

Loved this since i was 14 when i rented it and been one of my faves.

I've seen it once or twice. Never was a huge fan of it though. It's been quite some time, but I recall it being a bit disturbing. Maybe I need to re-watch it before I can fully judge it.

Disturbing? what makes Clockwork Orange no different or what about Urotsukidoji or Brian Yuzna's Society (1989)?

I did say I watched it quite some time ago. I don't remember it all that well. Don't know about the second one, but Clockwork Orange was very disturbing to me. A guys goes around doing the ol' in and out (raping) and is no better at the end when he is 'cured' as I recall it.
