Each of these series is about group of Japanese schoolgirls in their second year in middle school, who are granted special items, which enables them to become mighty warriors known as the Pretty Cure or PreCure. Together they fight evil forces.

The only one of these series I've seen was Fresh Pretty Cure, and I enjoyed it. The transformation sequences were especially cool. I might watch the original Pretty Cure series sometime soon, but I need to find the time for it first.

I've watched up to the 5th series (I think) when I was in kindergarten in Japan. Played a significant role in my childhood, proven by how I'm doing striking the pose they did in my old photos :v .
