You know, I haven't read the manga in English, so I don't know how well it was translated.. But I think it was done pretty well.

And it IS a cute story, although it's a bit ecchi at times.

Chobits chobits! I lubu lubu chobits! I have seen a few of the episodes and read the first book...although i am not shure if i got it completely. I had to translate some of it...and i dont think i got some of it right. *sweatdrop* oh well...

as far as i have seen and know..its deffinately like the manga...although when does clamp not keep the anime like the manga..i.e. Chobits, Cardcaptor sakura, Angelic layer...and so much more.

Hey, I loved the story too, but there's nothing wrong with fan-service ^^. I own all the english manga in a cute little chobits box, with the collectible Chi Figurine sitting on top of the box(As you can see I'm an avid collector). I had to read some parts a couple of times in order to understand the full story, and those "City with no People" Books always deserve another thumb through.

IMO, the manga is pretty easy to run through, normally takes me 30min to read one volume, there's not SoOO much dialogue, but enough to get the story told.

I recommend anyone who loves the anime, to pick up the manga. As we all know, there's some things the manga provides that the anime doesn't(not just the ecchi parts >.<!).

The anime is well done, and has a lot of nice sidestory episodes, I personally enjoyed the MMORPG episode, and my favorite one is the "Chi Buys" episode. And yes...Sumomo/Plum(that's her name in the english manga) R0x0rS my B0xZ0Rs!

I found Chobits to be very enjoyable and currently Ive got it on my to buy list. however that lisit is a bit lengthy and its not top priority ^^()
I saw the entire show and the ending was actually pretty good.
The Chibits episode was hilarious!

I've seen some of the episodes but Read the manga, It's Pretty good, but kind of perverted ( I know thats why it's rated 16+ ) but the artwork of the characters is really good along with the comedy / romance.

I seen Chobits before.....the grahpic'z aren't that good but the plot and how they make story line is good!!I give credit for that!! though it is a little ecchi sometimes....~__~

all of my frendz esp. my sis has a collectios of it... Her room was full of posters of chobits. I haven't watch it yet.. can u tell what was the story all about?:D

I know its a beautiful story...:read: Can we search it in the computer?:computer:
the story is a about a farm boy named Hiedeki Motoswa.He wants to get into a good college but gets rejected,so he goes to tokyo to go to cram school.So he sees all of these persocoms in the window and he wants one but he sees the price and he cant buy one.so he goes to his apartment and sees his really cute apartment manager.later on he goes shopping for groceries,on his way home he sees chi wrapped up in nothing but a little bit of cloth and he thinks that shes dead but finds out shes a persocom and takes her back to the apartment and turns her on by doing something really sick! so thats pretty much what happens in the first episode.

I love Chobits. It's definately my favorite manga series! I've seen about 16 episodes of the anime; it's cute, but the manga is so much better. Chobits is the one series that just...always gets to me! I'm usually crying when I read it, but I'm also a very emotional person, so I'll cry at just about everything! :D

I love Chobits! I have seen every episode (subbed) and read the manga. And it follows the manga kinda closely... Im not sure. There was a few parts in the manga that i didnt understand (cause i watched the anime first) BUT I LOVE CHOBITS!! AAH!! CHII IS SO KAWAII!!! *dies*

hm. I haven't really fallen for any of CLAMP's series. They all have more or less interesting stories and excellent art, but the plot is just... bleurp. It's kind of sad that they manage to spoil perfectly good stories like that. I couldn't read through even the first volume of Chobits, haven't watched the anime though. Is it good?

I love "Chobits". Its my favorite anime. The story is awesome and very romantic.
I feel like it was about me because I'm looking for my only one man too. Chii is a very sweet girl but my fav female character is Yumi. I like her story too, she is so friendly. I would love to meet as mature boy as Minoru. He is really handsome. I must say, "Chobits" is the best romance from all^^

I've red the manga now I want to see the show. I like chobits I thought the teacher was very hot and that hideki was a good guy even for a virgin. I hope the show is just as good.:cool:
