Help finding an anime?

Trying to find an anime I saw when I was younger. Only episode I can recall in enough detail was as follows...

youngish looking male character was being chased by authorities (house broken into I believe) in a cyber like setting. He was using a modded sword (green colored).

Another scene in this involved someone or the same character opening a chest or something, and some chick pops out and is all on him.


Anyone got an idea from that vagueness? -_-

If I had to guess in a time... Possibly eight years ago or so. It was likely on toonami st 1 to 3 am US eastern time. I remember MAR heaven was airing around that time too.
