Trying to identify anime

Hello, been trying to identify this anime for awhile now but unfortunately only have a few scenes to go off of. First off its based in space and the crew are being assimilated into a blob one by one. Crew tries to fight it but with no luck. Toward the end the remaining crew escape using an old space shuttle the captain kept in the cargo bay. Anybody with any information would be greatly appreciated .
