Okay, so... I've discovered an anime that takes random silliness to an extreme. It's Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu and it's about this little boy and his mum who live in a village in the jungle, and Hale (the boy) comes across this adorable little girl and he takes her home and they all decide that she'll live with them. The next morning, Guu (the girl) looks completely different and she's cynical and cruel and very very sullen.
Guu also eats living things (including people) and they go off to live in her stomach.
The series has 26 episodes and they're all equally silly and hilarious and I demand that everyone see them. :D
