Yeah, most people in their teens grow out of music the use to like. And also, some songs get really annoying, real quick.

I like pop... always have, always will. After all, Disturbed, Backstreet Boys and Barenaked Ladies are all pop. Then there's j-pop...

Strange. I was listening to the Backstreet Boys yesterday.

As for growing out of music... no. You don't grow out of it, you get bored with it.

After all, I still like all the songs from The Lion King.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's people who say only gays listen to certain bands. I'm not gay, and I listen to the Backstreet Boys. So there.

AH! GAH!

Some do, some don't.

XD!!!! That amused me.

People are just opinionated.

Like how all these Punkers loved Avril Lavigne.... then people said she was pop and so now the Punkers shun her.

So when there's a Punker that listens to Avril, he's not really a Punker.

O_o;

I just got bored with her.

I still like her (music-wise). I never really get tired of bands/singers, I just rotate.

I'm a pop fan myself. Mostly j-pop. In English pop I'm a big stickler for how a person's voice sounds, if they don't have a good voice and style I probably won't like it.

Amy Lee's voice drives me nuts for example, but I can tell I would like a few of her songs if it wasn't for whatever grates me about her voice.

The Macarana?

I loved that damn song. I don't listen to it much now, it lost it's Novelty, but I still love it.

I think that right now I'm going to play out Gay Bar by Electric Six. o_o; I exhausted "I'm Too Sexy" not too long ago.

Of course, it's normal to grow out of songs! The mind is always receptive to new ideas and sounds! :)

My taste pretty much cycles around often. When I find some new song to listen to, I d/l it right away. I use to switch to pop before, then game music, then back to pop - a little j-rock culture, then back to pop, game music, pop, you get the ordeal.

If I were to drink that much pop, I'd be having a bad headache - lol X.x

I've pretty much stuck with the same bands for awhile, but sometimes I can't listen to them ever again. Like the backstreet boys for example. They annoy the hell out of me now. I think I can tolerate like 2 songs.
