Previously shown in various leaks earlier this week, Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles has been confirmed to join Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS during this morning’s Japanese Nintendo Direct livestream. You can check out his official character page here.
Nintendo also announced that customers who purchase and register both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game through Club Nintendo will receive the Super Smash Bros. soundtrack. More details will come down the line.
