I like Duke Nukem 3D a lot more than Doom 2. Duke Nukem 3D was obviously following in Doom's foot steps, but Duke Nukem had one thing Doom didn't. Personality. Duke was an A-Hole who got his jollies off by vacating aliens out of porno theaters. The Space Marine from Doom was a lunatic who apparently sees "demons" everywhere, and talks to himself while killing said "Demons." (Source: The Doom Comic (http://www.doomworld.com/10years/doomcomic)). Who would you rather hang with?

Duke did everything the Space Marine did, did it better.

Its just too bad that Id is still staffed by people who don't suck, unlike 3D Realms.

i always thought duke was better then doom but i liked quake or avp alot better.

You can't compare Quake and AVP to Duke Nukem 3d. It's like comparing a longbow to a sniper rifle.

thats not true avp came out at the same time so did quake.

duke nukem was the first computer game i played. well we had quest for glory 1 VGA (woot&#33; wee still have it&#33;&#33;&#33;)) and we had secret weapons of the luftawafte. but all that aside duke nukem was awesome. back then graphics like it had where amazing and it did follow in dooms footsteps but it had more depth. waaay more.

all the duke nukem games after duke 3D are gay. especially manhattan project. i bought it when it came out and i found out its a side scroller&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;. and duke nuken time to kill is tombraider but with duke skins (if you play it you will know what i meen) as for the others like duke nukem zero hour. well its ok but lacking.

i pray to any god that will listen that duke nukem come out at least before 2005 is over

I always thaught Duke Nukem was a pretty good game. I only played it once a long time ago, but i alwyas thing shooting games are good
