Unable to enter song footnotes into song submission form

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, but it seems to be the most appropriate based on the existing posts...

Anyway, I was going to submit a translation for Hisoku no Sora, so I went to the song page (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/kawadamami/hishoku.htm) and clicked on the 'Submit an English translation for this song' link on the page. However, the form that the link brought me to had a field labelled 'Song Footnotes' but no box to enter the corresponding footnotes.

I tried to access the same page using Firefox, IE and Chrome but all three browsers gave the same result: there was no box to enter footnotes for the translation I wanted to submit. Upon more experimentation, it seems that this problem exists for songs that already have existing transliterations but no translation (e.g. if I click on the link to submit an English translation for the song on this page: http://www.animelyrics.com/game/remember11/littleprophet.htm), but not for submitting new songs without any transliteration or translation (e.g. if I click on the link to 'Submit a song for Vocaloid Original Songs' on this page: http://www.animelyrics.com/doujin/vocaloid, then the 'song footnotes' field and box appear normally for me to enter footnotes for the song).

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? If so, then how do I get around this issue? Do I just enter song footnotes under the 'English translation' field on the submission form, together with my translation?

Ah, I think it's always been this way. I'm not too sure why, though...the admins will probably know. (They can do it, but that doesn't actually count lol)

I don't actually know why it is; it's presumably some kind of coding issue, but I don't have access to the site backend (not that I really have the web design savvy to fix it even if I did).

Anyway, if you want to add footnotes to a song you've translated, just PM AzureDark or me. It's a pain, I know, but that's all you can do for now.

You can't put kanji in the footnotes, the kanji turns into garbled text because of encoding issues.
