On the latest weekly issue of Shonen Jump, it introduces "Eater", the new character set to appear in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth . Eater will be design by Ito Ogure, who previously designed for previous Namco games such as Tekken and Soul Calibur. Eater is a glitch who exist within cyberspace that suddenly emerged one day consuming the data of of humans and Digimon with no mercy if they ever approached it.
Alongside Eater, a new character is revealed in this weekly issue of Jump known as “Mysterious Boy,” The rumors that spread within the game say whoever meets him will be unable to return to the real world. No more details have been revealed in the scan, except for the protagonist encountering him at some point during his adventures.
Additionally, the scan also reveals many details around the game's battle system. When using “Active Turn Battles”, you will have the ability to shift turn orders for Digimon, which is based on variables such as their speed and the techniques the Digimon has used. You will also have the ability to perform Combo Attacks, which can be successfully be triggered depending on how sufficiently the bonding is with a Digimon.
