A new Yu-Gi-Oh! movie is in development in Japan, said International distributor 4K Media Inc. this Tuesday. Senior vice president Kristen Gray stated that “We're thrilled to bring the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters back to theater screens for their enthusiastic fan base.”
This announced Yu-Gi-Oh! film would be the third movie to hit theaters, the first one being Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light which hit theaters in North America in 2004, with the follow up release of Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time, which hit Japanese theaters in 2010, marking the franchise's 10th anniversary.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, the fourth main spin-off series based onKazuki Takahashi's original manga, premiered in Japan this last April.
