Cyzo, a Japanese entertainment news site reported on Tuesday that Takeshi Okano and Sho Makura's Hell Teacher Nube manga will be getting a live-action television series adaptation on NTV starting in October. Ryuohei Maruyama, the eight member of KANJANI will star in this, Cyzo states.
Makura and Okano serialized the original manga from 1993 to 1999 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. The series revolvess around Nube, a young male teacher whose left hand is an "oni hand." He resolves cases by using the power of his oni hand to purify evil spirits.
