Nintendo has recently trademarked the name "Delta Emerald" in Japan. This mark was filed on May 2nd and was just made public today on May 28th.
Earlier this month, Nintendo announced that two Pokemon games for the Gameboy Advanced, Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire were going to get remakes for the Nintendo 3DS, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
Pokemon Emerald was the third game to follow Ruby and Sapphire, not to mention the addition of the greek symbol, but a remake has not been announced.
