Hehe...well, I'm done with that stage of life. You best enjoy middle school, because that's like the last time you can be a immature kid! LOL, I'm just messin with ya. Anyhoo, yeah, all you really need to do is be yourself, and enjoy it. This place is also the gate to very bad people, so you best be careful, darn, I'm sounding like my Mom.

In 6th (if that is part of the middle school) grade, the teacher are inroducing you to much more hard things, pop quizzes, far more harder words, more homework and they might be a bit more strict with things. Also your starting to turn in homework much more eailer. I hated Pre-Alebra.

7th grade is where you kinda relax and enjoy things. I never got to do science fair in that grade and we went to alot of really neat field trips! ^^ But it's also hard cuz your starting to turn in homwork every other day. I hated Algebra.

In 8th grade, the first tri-mister was pretty easy, but your homework must be turned in at the exact date or they won't accept it, unless you were absent or something. They also prepare you for highschool (which I am going to this year! So nervous) and I hated Algebra.

Well, that's what happen to me in the 3 years as a middle school student. I hope that worked for you a bit. Hehe...sorry for the rambling stuff though.

So right.. I just love to hear another bright and promising child blossoming with wisdom and intellect.

So listen up guys, if you fail to do your homework more than once, not only will you be really really stupid, you will also be cast into the flames of hell by the almighty God himself.

And any fairly smart man or woman would vote for Bush as well. He got God's blessing too. That's the important thing as well..

Don't worry about Middle School it's not that hard. Depending on how yours it set up I'd be careful of the 8th graders because they like to prey on 6th graders. *laughs maniacally* I know that because I'd do it on occasion but I'm going to be gotten back for it this year since I'm a freshmen and a lot of my older friends are gonna let me have it on freshmen friday. Just relax and be yourself.

Or am I just confusing this with another forum I'm on (which is entirely possible)...? And...like Whispers pointed out....you're that young and you have "gangsta" in your handle?.......... Something tells me you likely don't know anything about being a "gangsta".... o_O Not bein' mean, just sayin'.... But...um...sure, ok, whatever...

Look, my only advice is to enjoy middle school. High school, at least where I went, was far more strict than middle school. So, have fun while you can. At the same time, though, it would be a REALLY good idea if you learned how to study before reaching high school. Study skills, however, don't really become direly important until college...but it's good to start early. My study skills frankly suck, but I still made all A's through the majority of my school life before college. In college, I sometimes get a B or C, because I fail to study as much as I should. So, don't slack off, even if you can get away with it... Getting into the habit of studying now will REALLY help you out in the future. Trust me.

It's great that you're finally in Middle School, my experience there was pretty good, wasn't the greatest experience but I couldn't necessarily complain. The only bit of advice I could give you is to just be you and only you, no matter what.

*lol* middle school It isn't that bad if you think it is just wait until you're in college! *lol* Just keep your cool and be yourself thats all that really matters. Remember your attitude reflects who you truly are so always try to look at the bright side of things and let the little insignificant stuff fly out the window don't let it touch you and always keep a good attitude about how you see yourself because how you see yourself will reflect how others view you.

School is only a place where you meet people of the same age as you to talk about what was on tv last night -.-

and you have to learn stuff too.. do your homework...because I don't, and therefore I do not get as good grades as I should -.-
Just act like the "cool guy", who sits in the back of the class chewing bubble gum and not paying attention... ah, high school movies have ruined my life..
Or if attention is what you desire, when the teacher asks a lame question, reply in a smart sarcastic way...

middle school is a good time..only downwards from now...until school is finished that is..

It all depends. for me, I was able to basically remember a lot of the stuff and regurgitate the info for tests, but not many people are successful that way. Depending on what kind of person you are, you may either get lots of time to basically post here and look for other forums, as well as scoial crap, or you may need to make flashcards, have a homework schedule, and study your donkey off. Or you may be a median of some sort. When I got there I found that it was difficult at first but once I got into the groove the time flew by (especially if you have cool teachers ;) )

hmm middle school was the worst time of my life. It may be the best time for you though. It was highschool when things were starting to be fun.

My advices are to be yourself really and no need to know what they do there because once you get there you will experience it yourself..that's what I think. I guess the key point is to start training yourself to study because once highschool rolls around the corner grades counts. And that's when I started to slack off..and everything went downhill haha no I still made it to attend university ^^. This should be the least of your worries.

Middle school was the best point of my life schoolwise, especially 7th grade. Not much homework (relatively), some cool teachers, and I wasn't really stressed about picking classes yeah let the man do that for me. I'm too indecisive.

Bah.. don't care about them..
It is norwegian..

<Norwegian>
Yo, en ting. Hvis du ikke skal skrive på engelsk, legg ved en <Norwegian> greie før du skriver på norsk.. -.-;
Vi ønsker at du helst legger ved en oversettelse også.

Jeg er ikke den som lager reglene, jeg bare formidler det videre.. Er ikke gøy å få en advarsel, tro meg.. x.X;;;;;;

Anyway.. Stay in school, be nice and don't get yourself expelled..

Zedekiah
08-31-2004, 11:18 AM

Oh, and as for the ones that's still unable to comprehend the fact that I'm not using English... It's Norwegian. Stop asking. I don't change nationality or language everytime I write in a somewhat alien language to one of my friends.

Sophonax
08-31-2004, 11:24 AM
<norwegian>
xD Ja, jøss.. men men.. vi som er i ledelsen prøver å opprettholde noen av reglene....

MEN, så lenge det er minst en av moderatorene/administratorene som kan språket, går det greit.. tror jeg.. o.o;;;;

Anyway, lets get back on topic.. x.x;

Zedekiah
08-31-2004, 11:29 AM
Agreed. We came to the conclusion that anyone that uses another language than English will be shot on sight. (Though I'll be the executioner, so I'll use my own language freely to further fuel the hypocritical tendencies I have)

There are a few minor things, like you'll have different people in each class, but not so much that you should stress over it. After all, soon you'll be stressed out of habit anyway, and that's just unhealthy :lol: .

I'm going into high school this year, and I'm REALLY worried about that because I'm going to a snooty private school where they give a lot of homework. Now THAT's gonna suck.

I'm in eighth grade so I guess I can help ya out a little.

1. First ya gotta make some friends.So you all can talk about stuffs.
2.Try not to fall asleep in your classes.(trust me,it aint pretty when ya do.)
3.Don't try to get into fights.(its bad,very bad).

stick to this,and you'll do fine.Just try to
be yourself B)

AngryYoungMan

I'm gonna have to disagree about the fights (they can be very fun If you're big and violent enough) but I agree with everything else.
You should try to have at least one friend in each class so you'll have a partner for stuff and someone to talk to.

If you don't get it from the beginnin', you won't get it after a fight. If you're really that smart, you would be able to rise above that shitty street rule "system" that seems to be dominating most of the angsty teens around here.

If I can solve it with words, I will.
But think, some whiny little asshole keeps calling you a queer and spreading rumors that cause even your good friends to look at you funny. There is always a certain satisfaction in showing him that he isn't the best thing ever created, without opening the discussion for him to spout out some random crap that pisses you off even more. I guess you probably have a different perspective, so why argue about something so trivial?

Zedekiah
09-02-2004, 05:16 PM
Because I like to. Simple as it is. The only reason I'm being as... belligerent.. As I am now, is simply because I am bored and you're the only one online.
And also because I think it's funny you still care about something as petty as that.. You say that your "good" friends look at you strangely? Well, my idea of good friends doesn't care about any rumor, true or not.
And the other thing is that if you're able to use violence to prove your point once, you're actually worse than him..
Though I myself shun violence.

Anyway, back to the thread.

Oh yeah, the falling asleep in class thing. Never done it personally, but I remember someone doing it in a study hall in the music room. The teacher came over and clapped two wood blocks together over his head. He jolted awake so quickly that he tipped his desk over :lol: good times!

It really sorta depends on where you are, who you are... that kind of stuff, but some things you should know/do that will keep you ahead of the game...:

1. Never back down. Don't ler other steer you wrong. Always listen your gut instincts and don't deny what you believe in. Peer Pressure will continue to get worse as you get older, but you'll always know how to deal with it if you stick with your beliefes.

2. Be sure to have some good, reliable friends by your side. They'll be a big help! ^^

3. Enjoy it! These are the best years of your life, and you want to be able to reach the end of your travles, look back and say "I'm satisfied" instead of "I wish i would have..."

Best of luck to you! Go get em!! XD

Anyway, I have done nothing to prepare for school. I SHOULD have gotten materials, but eh. I'll just bum off others or something.

Also, remember that it's better to have one loyal, honest friend, then to have a bunch of untrustworthy, undependable friends.

Well...be cool and stay in school. you're going to do fine. if ur in an area where it is bad, then tough luck. but if ur in a nice area.....be focused and stay on task. lol.

Well it all depends on the kind of person you arei'm going to give a walk trough to middle school:

The first type of person is the prep-a prep is a kid that has an overral bunch of friends,they probably wear hollisters ,and they will always be involved in something for example sports that are mainstreamor they are in studen council.

The second type of people are the "goths"-tHIS PEOPLE ALWAYS WEAR black ,they are the exact opposite of the preps and you will mostly see them alone or with another person.

The third group is the nerds- the are ussualy playing cards like magic or star wars ,they are never alone that way they can't get trashed.

The last group is the neutarls-they are the mix of evrything .

Remember you can chosse want you want to be

The important thing is to choose the stereotype that fits you best, thus making you a special and important person.

(Personally, I would go for the goth one. They get to smoke sigarettes and stay up all night writing poems about how pointless life is, thus making them non-conformists.)

Being a person is way overrated anyways..

sjøpølse
12-03-2004, 05:36 PM
How fun it is to see a goth herd, all wearing the same t-shirt saying: Conformity is the death of soul.
But don't forget the "hippies", which are always zen, granola, eating healthy food and vegetarian without knowing why, or the "punks" with an ego increasing with the number of holes in their skin/clothes.
You know, there's a plethoria of stereotypes you can adopt not to be a conformist.
