News: As well as a second season, Hitsugi no Chaika has recently been confirmed to also be receiving ab unaired OVA due March 10th, 2015. It will be bundled with Volume 12 of the Light Novel. Putting its low 7.3 score aside, the anime is making history by airing episodes parallelly to the light novel.
This is GREAT news in my opinion due to how much I actually am enjoying this piece of work. While it does have just an average rating, it is actually pretty popular and people reading this article should consider watching it down the line. The first season is currently airing and has aired six episodes as of this writing.
