No game No Life

Hi, i have recently heard of an anime which is still airing in Japan. It is called "No Game No Life". i have watched the 4 episodes which have been released and i love it. I want to know, what do you guys think of this series. From the first 4 episodes, i think that it is going to be an amazing series.

For those of you who havent heard of it, here is a synopsis of the series:

There was an urban legend that there was a legendary, undefeated gamer called [ ], but in reality he was just a NEET brother and sister called 空 (Sora) and 白 (Shiro). These hikikomori siblings who both refer to the real world as a worthless "Kuso Game" are one day summoned to a different world by a boy calling himself "God". In this world, war is prohibited by God and everything is instead decided by a game...that's right, even country borders. Can the two NEET brother and sister save the last of the human race <Imanity>, which only has one city left?
"Now...let the game begin!"

It's an intelligence-insulting pile of trash. It's all NEET pandering and wish fulfillment with terrible characters and an even worse plot that's trying to seem smarter than it actually is with it's absurd badly handled games.

I actually agree. The anime is complete garbage.

Well, honestly. The anime does have the animation going towards it, but besides that everything else comes off as average - terrible. The characters are boring, the overall story is okay though not being executed very well, the games in the anime are kinda stupid. Idk, it has hype due it be centered around gaming of course, but remove that and there would be no hype.

All I can say is that this anime seems to keep me wanting to see more and Sora is so Kawaii and the soundtrack is awesome

I don't know what you guys are talking about I love this one. Its the first anime I have seen where the protagonist or protagonists have been sent to a new world and have no interest in returning to our terrible one. ^^ Every time I watch one of these and the characters say I haft to get home all I can think of is why its so much better there. Given they need to tone down some of the game explanations like the ep about rock paper scissors...it was like 10 min. But that's really all I can think of to complain about, I say its a good one and I am looking forward to the up coming eps.

Lol well personally I really like it, the animation is awesome and the soundtrack is pretty sweet. The jokes always seem to crack me up no matter how many times I hear them and there's good action scenes (I say action, but I mean when they play games). It's in my top 5, definitely.

I'll admit, the new character is better than the rest of the cast! Though, I still strongly dislike it. I'm glad you guys like it, but I personally don't xD.

What really gets me into this show is that they brought back the two leading character's voice actors from Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo as the two main characters. And there names? Almost exact duplicates of the two main protagonists of Sakurasou. Sorata & Sora are the male leads and Mashiro Shina (nicknamed Shiiro) & Shiiro as the female leads.

Its going to have one (sadly I'll have to watch that as well). Its pretty popular and the plot doesn't seem like it will wrap up on the first season.

Its true I strongly dislike the anime, but I'm already finishing the first season. Not watching the second season and not at least following the already built plot to the end is something I won't do. If I dropped it during this season then that would be different, but I won't watch one season and not the second. Especially since it seems like they go together.

If you look at the development of the plots and what can come isn't there a chance you might take a fancy to it?
Even if already 9 eps have aired, the climax could be 'a potential mindblower' of some kind.
I've felt bored watching anime before, but then near the end started to think differently of it.

Of course. I may give it a 2/10 - 3/10 if the last couple episodes were "potential mindblower". It doesn't change my opinion on the first nine. That goes against a rating system completely.

Well opinions differ ofcourse, even if the anime doesn't get you all that excited I'm pretty sure it can't exactly keep you bored either. It seems like enough is gonna 'go down' in these later eps.
But ofcourse we'll see I like the fact that they took an anime arround literally games and made it into something watchable. That they didn't go for a high tech gaming thing like most anime arround gaming have these days.

It's a different approach that charms me.

It doesn't go up in quality IMO, but a couple decent characters get introduced later on. Honestly, its popular.. but pretty damn boring / lackluster.

Everyone has stuff they like and dislike, and ours differ on this one.
