A source at Spike Chunsoft has revealed to Siliconera that the company is actively searching for a publisher partner that can bring over Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind to North America.
Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind was released in early December 2013 in Japan. Attack on Titan sold over 93,000 copies during its first week and sold out very quickly after that at retail stores. Over the following weeks, Spike Chunsoft shipped more copies of the games to retail stores, however due to the popularity of the show, demand was constantly outweighing supply.
If you aren't too familiar with Attack on Titan, the manga and anime series is set in a world where over 100 years prior the beginning of the series, monstrous humanoids called Titans evaded the world and nearly wiped out mankind with no remorse or reason. With the remaining of humanity, they now reside within a country y surrounded by three enormous concentric walls. The story follows with a group of soldiers called Survey Corps which confronts these monsters and other upcoming mysteries.
