The official Attack on Titan website has announced that the TV anime series will be recompiled into two theatrical films.
The first film will be titled "Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow" which will made available this winter. The second film will be titled ""Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom" and it will be made available next year. Both titles has been named after the two opening songs of the original anime.
Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow will include the first half of the series, which are episode 1 through 13. Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom will cover the second half of the series which is episode 14 though 25. All the original cast from the original anime will reprise their roles in these upcoming films.
The original director from the series, Tetsuro Araki will direct these films as well.
