It seems like Banri can't never catch a break, right? So basically this episode starts off where Chinami Oka (or best known as Miss Ultrasonic by Koko) scolds Banri right after his conversation with Linda after pursuing her from what happened in the Festival room in the previous episode. She doesn't approve that Banri is talking to Linda and acts completely out of character. She doesn't approve for such obvious reasons such as for starters, Banri is friends with Mitsuo and finds that disrespectful as Mitsuo has obvious feelings for Linda. It's a common feeling to feel upset when a friend (or a friend knows a friend in Oka's case) knows his friend likes a person but yet they see him hang out too much with that person but that goes with Oka being oblivious that Banri and Linda were good friends ever since High School. Secondly, because of her misunderstanding she feels sorry for Koko as well which he is currently in a relationship with and thirdly, because of her obvious love for Mitsou as you can tell from her latest out of character behavior and her change of hairstyle.

Afterwards, we get more Banri problems but I will get to that in a bit. Koko and Banri meet up and start having a conversation about the latest event, and the recent behavior of Miss Ultrasonic and how Mitsou is trying to spend more time with Linda in the Festival club. He found that the moment and the scenario was the most opportune, but as always with his struggle on when would be the right time to give the precious ring his mother gave him to Koko, and when the right time presented itself he forgot to put it on his bag. Like I said, Banri problems,

So after missing class for so long, Nana-senpai decides she needs to go to class as she can''t seem to miss anymore. She meets up with Banri in the train, all tired from lack of sleep and starts having a conversation with Banri about Koko and her funny antics, with her latest one "The Exorcist" which Koko is awfully embarrassed about, she later falls asleep in his shoulder. Banri later meets up with the group in cafe, having their usual conversations about their friends and with the return of Oka's and Koko's obsession with Belgian Chocolate that Oka mentioned that it went on sale with Oka then complaining because she has work, she will miss the opportunity. Some actual comedic flavor was added to this with Oka complaining about she not even able to work without trying Belgian Chocolate with Koko saying she will help her to do her duty, so later they take off together to the store to buy it.

Both Oka and Koko have developed a healthy friendship after all they went through not to mention sharing common interests and it seems that Oka still is upset about Banri talking to Linda as she didn't make any eye contact with him. So after taking off, that leaves the guys alone to have a bro conversation with Mitsou complaining about how he doesn't have a chance to talk to Linda, with Takaya (a.k.a 2D-Kun) complaining to Banri how about he's he's not being a goof friend and help him with him problem but Mitsou later explains that problem is with the members of the group, especially with the two girls flirting with him and Koshino being the biggest cockblock of them all making it difficult for him.

So skipping all the filler and repetitive parts that we see every episode, this is where the series will start to be entertaining again taking a a different turn. The Festival Club is practicing for the festival on Sunday. Mitsou is there and as we know, he gets cockblocked again. So the day of the festival arrives, and it starts off well as you can see everyone is enjoying the show and having a good time. However, suddenly it seems that Banri gets his memories prior that even of the accident back and it's confused of his location so he runs off scared with Koko and Linda trying to find him,. He was later found in a corner of a street by Linda with her worrying about him and asking him if he was fine. It was nothing too serious as Banri was able to immediately regain his memories after his accident back but he was aware that he got his old memories back and has the conclusion that old Banri maybe is trying to take over his body. What will happen next?

Again, Golden Time almost gets another useless episode minus the last episode which actually showed progress and development into the story enough to care about watching the next upcoming episode. Don't get the wrong idea that useless means it was bad, it was an entertaining enough episode but the story progression of Golden Time is rather mediocre. This episode gets a 7/10 from AnimeGlobe just because it's just starting to finally pick up.
