I'm guessing you mean X-Japan. X-Japan was first known as X, but I think for some reason they changed the name to X-Japan. I love X-Japan though.^^.

X-Japan, heyyy. <3
I've been listening to them for 4 years now... (Hey, I know they're a lot older than that, but I'm not very old XD)

I have Yoshiki's instrumental album, he composed the entire thing, it's BEAUTIFUL, but it costed a good $40. Agh. It was worth it, I've had it for a year and still listen to it about once a week.

Their music is classic. Every Japanese music fan should have a few songs by them mixed in.

X Japan changed the name because they wanted to break through in the US, and there was already a band named X here in the west. They never had any success in USA, though.

I think that's really kind of sad. I love E Japan's music and I think they rock. ^__^ I don't know. I think thaat people would really like their stuff. If they know about them, that is... That's one of the things that's probably the problem. Not a lot of people know about them and they're not sure about something that's in a different language or somethimg that 's completely different from what they're used to. X-Japan rocks and I love their music. I think they're the only band that could make a half hour long song that isn't classical or something like that. It's a good song too. ((Art of Life)) They have kind of a depressing story though... They aren't around any more which is really sad... I found this one wight that gave a history on them and I guess one of hte memebers hanged himself and another memeber died for some other reason. It was very sad.

That was hide, the pink-haired guitarist. He had been out drinking, and when he came home and the door was locked, he somehow managed to hang himself on the door. His girlfriend found him, but it was too late. X Japan had already disbanded because Toshi left the band in 1997, but according to the rumours, Yoshiki was planning to get the band together again early 1998. After hide commited suicide, Yoshiki somewhat drew back from public. In 2000 Yoshiki started his Violet UK project, which is slowly developing. I'm looking forward to it, Yoshiki is a musical genius.
