FF7 was the best ff game, but I agree that the graphics were rushed. Not so much the maps, just the characters, the characters look horrible compared to what they could have looked like if they didnt rush the completion.

And I cant wait for AC either

Lord. I just wrote something about this game scant days ago.

Truthfully, to say I love this ame would be misleading. There are no words to adequately explain how I feel. It involves Hero-Worship, Nostalgia, Mindless Loyalty, and, oddly enough, Sympathy.

I think it had to do with Cloud being experimented on by Hojo.

what i really loved about this game was how cloud's past was slowly shown, and when you think you've got it all figured out they show you that picture with zack in it and everything you knew goes out the window

Hmm Cloud's got a pretty good nosy memory in order to play a role he never did, remembering exactly all the the things Test sub-ject A (was it?) did. But anyways this is pretty pretty old to me, I still play it even up to this date.

It's not that he has a nosy memory - one theory that floats around is that Hojo made Cloud think he was Zack. I've read a lot of these type of things, and some of them are pretty good explanations to Cloud's state of mind.

Plus, apparently, he was injected with Jenova cells, which can let him remember things he never experienced, but others did. Pretty much, he can walk around and copy people's memories.

Well, that's a theory. It sounds good, though.

I see you've come up with your own theories, Anyways one of my fave things about FF is the way they do the deaths.. For FFVII it was returning back to the world.. but my fave was the one from FFX in which one had to be sent in order to truly die.

Well, I liked the Sending [People die and Yuna dances!] quite a lot, but I love the Lifestream. A few years back I thought it was a good idea for a religion... for about a week. I still think it's plausable.

Also, Nine's 'Memory' theme made me a little nostalgic for no good reason.

Final Fantasy 7 is one of my favorite games... I've played it so many times...

Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time... Heheh... And there's a lot of other nicer games, I know, but I love this game the best! It captures my attention and makes me want to scream in frustration everytime I see Vincent! x_x... He's a hottie... And so is Reno, Cloud, and Sephiroth... I think Cid is a so-so... And Tseng... And Rufus.. OOooohh the list could go oooonnn!

ff8 whas good but if you think about it when ff7 came out those graphics and gameplay was good. but if we all think the originalm ff games for super nintendo hell even the nes were great games for the time to. 7 is the best for characters story and all in all the game really opened the door for final fantasy games. thats why final fantasy 7 has sold more copies then any other ff game. it has sold 5.7 million copies well in that general area.

FF7 is my favorite Final Fantasy. Sure the characters look a little gimped, but that's just cuz it's an old game. The music, the gameplay the story and the cinemas are downright perfect (for it's time). FF8 was good too cuz I really liked Squall, he reminds me of me alot.....actually too much.:laugh:

FF7 is just the best FF out of them all. FF8 was good but it was ruined by the way the monsters level up with you, so i passed it at LV30. Besides FF7 had chocobo racing and breeding, and it had a storyline that can only be called perfect. but the thing that i found best about it was Cosmo Canyon and The Gold Saucer, those 2 places are so cool.

Yes. However, the villain [Ultemicia] was... eh. Not a very good villain.

Eight wasn't much of a thinker game. I mean... in Seven, you have to ask "Why was Cloud insane?" ... there are SO many theories about this.

The music was really good, though.

trying to completly understand FF7 is about as hard as trying to understand the Neon Genisis series. i've finished the game countless times and everytime i play it i still find something new and that always makes it harder to understand. like zack's parents for example (the black haired guy that looks like cloud), if you go to where you get Titan there is a town there, and if you go into one of the houses in a certain part of the game the old people there talk about there son zack and how they dont know what happened to him.

It just had good game play and a good story line. Not to mention the great cinemas. I'm still awaiting the day that SquareEnix realizes that Final Fantasy 7 is better than 10 and it desirves a sequal more than 10. Thats just my opinion. :ninja:

I've heard many rumours about advent children...For those of u who have seen the movie trailer are probably wondering who the wheel-chaired guy is right?Well i heard that he is Rufus, and i also heard some rumours from other forums which said that Cloud is suffering from a disease called Geostigma, and he'll die in the end!!!!But these rumours are just rumours, so theres a large possibility of it being totally wrong.I hope that those are just rumours because i don't wanna have my precious Cloud taken away from me!!!!
