Nowadays I watch a lot more Shounen. Before I used to watch Shoujo a lot.
For me if I consider it to be a good anime, it doesn't matter what kind it is, I'll like it no matter what. :)

Shoujo once in a great while, but mainly Shounen/Seinen. Never watched Noucome, but then again most romances aren't really my thing. Fruits Basket and Ouran are the only shoujo anime/manga I can think of atm that I really liked. If you tell me Noucome is anything like them (or Angel Beats! because omfg that anime made me feel all over the place), then I might check it out~.

I don't typically know whether an anime I watch is shounen, shojou, yaoi or yuri until I've seen a couple of episodes. If I feel unsure whether an anime is worth watching though I will normally check for information on wikipedia and then continue or stop watching. I am pretty open-minded as a person, but at the same time I'm very picky about what to watch. If something doesn't catch my immediate attention in the first, second or third episode, I'll stop watching. The opening song is usually important for me as well because then I have more expectations from it. Of course, that can also be a downside if it ends up being a disappointment instead. My biggest problem is that I have a difficult time finding good yaoi or yuri shows.

I like my anime sunnyside up!I don't really like Shonen, especially One Piece or Naruto, but I did like Zatch Bell and like Dragon Ball Z. I love Shojo anime though, especially romantic comedies like Golden Time, or some for younger girls like Cardcaptor Sakura maybe. I did love Noucome too, and like ecchi-harem-romance anime especially.
