lineage 2 is totaly worth the 12 bucks a month its pricey but final fantasy 11 is 14 plus a dollar for each character you create can you say rip-off?

There are a few mmorpgs that are out there and free..... but lets just say you get what u pay for. Here are some of them.

1. Tibia
2. Astera Online (mac)
3. Nexus: The kingdoms of the winds
4. Dark ages (1 month free)
5 Furcadia
6. Daimonin

There are a few others, these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

i recommend the pillows, it's like a free version of ragnorak online. Or mu, but the graphic stinks. I heartly recommened lineage 2, World of warcraft, and city of heros. Diablo is pretty good. so is starcraft though it is old. It's your pick, depends on what kind of games you like.

I second the Ragnarok Online comment. It's an awesome MMORPG. And in my opinion it's completely worth the 12$ a month fee... Though there are over a million ways to get around it...

It's hard to find any free online RPG's these days. Diablo 1 / 2 are good I suppose. Neverwinter Nights was pretty good also...although it kind of bugged me with the controls. FFXI Online was also a pretty good starting one. Though it began to get confusing. If your extremely into Manga and Anime...

Then I'd completely recommend opening an account with Ragnarok Online. They start you out with a free 15-day trial, which is a start to get to know the game.

The problem is, unless you have an unbelievably customized and fast connection, downloading the Ragnarok game client is an over-night job. It's completely worth it though, in my opinion.

Well, try it if your feeling bold. But don't take my word for it, I don't pretend to be some expert. I'm sure there are hundreds of other cheaper, better online RPG's out there. It just depends on your tastes~

From what I hear L2 has a disturbingly evil AI, with monsters going after the Healers more than anyone else.

I play Ragnarok Online which is enjoyable, if a little repetitive at times. I have heard good things about Diablo though I've never played it myself.
