Hate to tell you this, but they didn't run together. The Total Drama series started in 2007 in Canada, then was picked up by Cartoon Network a year later. Drawn Together started in 2004 and ran until late 2007, all on Comedy Central.

I watched them both here in America at the same time. Anyway the question was about your preference, not when they ran.

Actually they already have 2 new season of TDI coming out this next year

And Drawn Together had that movie before the voice actors got better jobs.

Just because there was a movie made at the same time as the other was running on another channel, I don't think that qualifies to say "they ran together".

And btw, the 4 of the voice actors are veterans with only 2 newcomers. They didn't get better jobs, they just moved on to new ones after the show was canned. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drawn_Together#Voice_cast

Clayton likes to give out random 'facts' then backtrack when hes wrong or argue till the people give up talking to a wall and he 'wins'. Id give up while you're ahead

And I didnt really care for either show.

While I liked Drawn together. I don't see why you would put two cartoons that aim at a totally opposite audiences?

Because it's Clayton. I think a thread about Total Drama Island, 6teen and Stoaked wouldve made more sense, since it was all the same creator and animating team

And that would make more sense, but I think what he's/she's jivin' at is that they're both parodies of reality TV shows. TD is based more off of Survivor (Not the '80s Rock Band/One-Hit Wonder), where DT is based more on Real World and Big Brother type shows.

And Omega apparently likes to follow me from thread to thread and complain about everything i say rather than getting a life.

And I consider Tara Strong doing MLP a step up from Princess Clara in a few ways... though it is fun when people have Twilight Sparkle use Princess Clara's words.

It's not a step up, it's just moving on.

ANYWAY I liked both shows in different ways... though Drawn Together did go a little out of my comfort zone a time or two.

Watching TDI it's so easy to picture them doing this stuff to real live people from reality tv. *Sigh* Yet another thing Japanese entertainment doe better than us

Total Drama is what I definitely prefer. I've seen a bit of both shows. Only 8 people seems less interesting, and there seems to be less conflict. I'll give it to Drawn Together, it does have some funny parts especially for how cheesy it is.

Total Drama's next season is "The Ridonculous Race". According to the creators they want this show to last at least 10 seasons. http://www.freshtvinc.com/blog/total-drama-presents-the-ridonculous-race/
