My type of marriage isn't legal in Illinois, we have Civil Unions but eh. If the person I liked was getting tomorrow it probably wouldn't matter anyway because I would have the same fate of not being with them regardless (assuming they're marrying a girl and are straight).

This question seems a bit rhetorical. If I "like" this person, it must be for a good reason. So I would get married. If it failed, then we get a divorce and I take all her stuff, xD
