Unless my eyesight needs repair, I was unable to find a discussion about this game with anime intros, leaderboards and more! I plan on getting into it myself and I was wondering if anyone on AF actually played it or are interested in sharing your own leaderboard ranks for different songs?

Well anyway, it's a great game. If you love music of all languages (Mostly Japanese, English, and Instrumental) you'll love it. It's a game you'll never be bored of as its a mix of your favorite music and a very fun rhythm beat game. Either online and offline, you'll always be having fun with it. Has ton's load of anime opening's and ending's, FV's, AMV's, and most likely your favorite bands in it.

It also has features such as osu!mania (Piano rhythm game), Taiko (Drum-based rhythm game), and Catch The Beat (Catching fruit as they fall down the screen-rhythm game that goes with beat of the music) and much more.

Also capable of making your own beatmaps for each type of game, and able to upload it to there website for friends and strangers to play.

Also for first time players, it will most likely be tough at first, but as time goes by, you will most likely be pro in no time.

EDIT: Kind of sounds like advertising.. if anyone thinks it sounds that way, let me know so I can cut off some of the things here to make it sound less like an advertisement. lol

Reviews don't work for this type of game. It's literally clicking circles on a screen to the beat of music/vocals. Plus it's free to download and play.

You can add each other from the website. Underneath the person's avatar is a button that says add friend :p

I didn't know this thread existed, happened to see it when I clicked new posts. And yeah, I'm an avid player of osu! I play it every time I use my computer. It's one of those games that requires endless hours of practice so, since I want to get good, I play it endlessly lol

That's a lie, I was on osu! for about 2 1/2 years and I got bored so easily, whenever you start to improve heavily and there are no challenging maps anymore it just gets simply boring. I even started to play CtB and Taiko, I ranked myself on the top #100 of German players in CtB, look what happened now? I simply got bored of it, nothing interesting happening. The community is also just..crappy. There sure are a lot of nice people but hidden under a lot of idiots.

I know exactly how people would feel after playing the game so long that everything is easy to pass. It gets boring when your plays have to be 100% or bust.

As for ranks, I've only managed to keep 1 top 50 score on a song, still new to osu!

Osu is fantastic! I've been playing about a year now and it's just a really nice way to get good at a game while listening to music ^_^ Definitely recommend.

They don't have many good American rock music, especially from Rise Against. I want some more System of a Down and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
