I'm in a bit of an indecision, so could someone give me their unbiased opinion?

I spent the entire summer adjusting to the idea that, come September, I would start attending night classes (I've been in the regular, day schedule for 2 years now) and work a part-time job during the morning/afternoon (like from 11-15h). All this because I have a steady monthly income from my student loan, but that isn't enough when it's time to pay my tuition every 3 months.

However, my university recently changed its policy and the tuition is now monthly (therefore, I can handle it better). Also, my grandpa really doesn't want me to work and study at the same time, so he wants to pay for my tuition every month. What do you think I should do? Should I take it and not work? I don't really have an option about taking it or not, he'll just pay for it anyway, but should I still change to night classes and work or just enjoy the opportunity given and continue to only study?

I'm in a bit of an indecision, so could someone give me their unbiased opinion?

I spent the entire summer adjusting to the idea that, come September, I would start attending night classes (I've been in the regular, day schedule for 2 years now) and work a part-time job during the morning/afternoon (like from 11-15h). All this because I have a steady monthly income from my student loan, but that isn't enough when it's time to pay my tuition every 3 months.

However, my university recently changed its policy and the tuition is now monthly (therefore, I can handle it better). Also, my grandpa really doesn't want me to work and study at the same time, so he wants to pay for my tuition every month. What do you think I should do? Should I take it and not work? I don't really have an option about taking it or not, he'll just pay for it anyway, but should I still change to night classes and work or just enjoy the opportunity given and continue to only study?
I think that, while studying still being crucial, you should work some too. I'm not saying OVERwork, but you might want to start early so you can at least have some experience for it. That said, you mentioned your grandfather would pay for it anyway? That could be a way to get a less-demanding job that lets you work for less hours. This isn't a sure-thing solution, just a suggestion. I hope things work out for you though.

i love old westerns. john wayne, chuck connors, clint eastwood... The Shootist, El Dorado, The Rifleman, Pale Rider, Unforgiven, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly... these movies call to me in such a profound way. I've always been fascinated with gunslingers (as you can tell by me sig, avatar and profile picture). the image of a gunslinger is much more noble and powerful than say, a knight, a samurai, a ninja. Someone that, with a fast enough draw, can settle a dispute within half a second, or with enough bullets settle many disputes, really earns my infinite fascination and awe.

I see gunslingers as their own kind of knight, a man sworn to uphold law and order, and to prevent the world from replacing peace with unrest and anarchy. a hoodlum mugging someone with a pistol is not a gunslinger, but the police officer that makes the call to take the mugger's life away from him is. The gunslinger is judge, jury and executioner, the ultimate authority.

Don't think that gunslingers are only good for the guns they carry, though - far from it. A gunslinger is also a diplomat, a negotiator, a reasoner. The guns are only there as a means of final action, when words fall upon deaf ears. these are my thoughts at this moment, just thought i'd record them.

that's right where i was for the past year, but now i'm working and night classes start in like 20 days. still, i can't wait til i can afford some entertainment - preferably a new modern pc. until then i'll have to make due with buying a hard drive for my ps2 so i can download and play any game i want. i can do that now with an external hdd, but it connects via usb, and since ps2 utilizes v1.1, the games sometimes the games lag and cutscenes skip.
