Okay, this is a twisted thread I came up with (unspoken inspiration).

The topic is to post images (PG 13) that could possibly cause nightmares or as a disturbing laugh.

Rules:
1) Please Keep all images PG-13.
2) No nudity or sexual acts
3) No reposting a picture already posted (includes edits)
4) Do not claim artwork as your own (unless you actually drew the nightmare fuel)
5) Stay on topic

Shall I start this off?

Bah, this is nothing.

I'll give you some nightmare fuel that is real and it will very likely happen to you sometime in your life. You probably won't remember this thread though.

Imagine you're sleeping and it's very early morning hours and pitch black. Suddenly, you open your eyes and look around at the ceiling, and you think to turn over to look at the clock or use the bathroom. You try to turn your head and find that you can't move. Absolutely scared out of your mind, you try to flail your arms and sit up and your body just does not respond. Then you try to scream ... maybe your scream is just a slight murmur. You shift your eyes to the left and you see an inexplicable figure hovering ... it looks like a collection of very sharp slightly glowing geometric figures ... perhaps hand-like? Then you feel yourself hover very slowly, in fact, maybe you're not even sure you're hovering. But you think your head is approaching the wall behind you and just before your head hits the wall, you wake up again and it's morning.

What I have described is one of two sleep paralysis experiences I had. What really happened:

I woke up briefly and could not move.
I hallucinated.
I fell back asleep and dreamed I was floating into the wall.

When you experience sleep paralysis for the first time (and you probably will), it is absolutely terrifying! You'll think you're dying or about to die!

When you do experience it, you'll now hopefully know what it is. Nobody told me about it and it was only after a lot of searching on the Internet that I found out what it was (I found out about it 10 years ago on this uwaterloo site (http://watarts.uwaterloo.ca/~acheyne/)).

If we approve of the fuel are we suppose to 'like' or 'dislike'? Jeff the Killer always gives me the deepest chills to look at. I jumped to the marker on DarkSky's vid and I have to agree those kinds of sudden random noises freak me out so much.

another unsettling image that I rather not post is Samara from "the ring" man that image with the hair covering her face and frail body looks incredibly creepy... ever since i've watched both the Japanese and us version, I've been having nightmares about it
