Thats just one of the forum things. Don't know why they do it. Should be able to set it up tomorrow though. Its under settings, on the left you'll see the thing that says signatures. Just insert the link for the Sig I made and you'll be set.

It is odd, but I guess its an incentive to make new users want to stay, even if I think its making users want to stay less because of it. Like Serated said, its a good way to avoid bots putting bad content on it though so you can consider it a plus and a negative.
