It was Kuabara. Youger Taguro ripped ihs heart out, but they probably censored out the blood and stuff on CN.

The Inuyasha episode was quite simple. Tsubaki (not spelled right) convinced two priestesses to attack Inuyasha and the group they made shikikamis of Inu and Kagome and tried to kill them. The last scene was Tsubaki at the forbidden door about to release a terrible demon. Kuwabara is not really dead and yes they did flash back to when they were younger go to tvtome.com for more details.
