Wolf XXXVI: Duel Monsters Game Thread

AF! Are you ready to duel? Grab those decks and beware, traps are hidden around every corner!






One early school day, best friends Omega and November were outside the duel academy dorms, watching a couple guys dueling with everything they had in them. Deathblade had 2500 life points with a Blue Eyes(3000/2500) and the duelist he was facing, Ryutama had 3800 life points, with one card face down in the magic/trap section. Ryutama was a stuck-up duelist, and was 13-0 in singles competition. As Deathblade activated his attack, Ryutama would activate mirror force, thus reversing Deathblade's attack back at him.




Zainox was with his three friends: Darksocks/Elphaba/Suxrys as all four were early duelists in duel academy.


Zainox: Any chance we could check out the duelist channel everyone quick?
Elphaba: Sure! I heard a really great duelist named Ryutama duels on it!
Zainox: Ryutama?
Darksocks: An elite duelist man. He doesn't need strong monsters to win duels!
SuXrys: Ha. Can he take down my machine deck?


As the four friends tuned into duelist channel, Acid-Fang and Femme Fatale(in the field behind Omega/November) was in awe of Ryutama's victory.


Ryutama: Foolish. Denja. Albear. Bring me my towel please!



As the duel wrapped up, six duelists were watching duelist channel. The six were as followed: Syaoran/SolanaNight/darksky967/Moogoesthecow5/The Rebel/Phantom Wolf. As the six would sit in their clique, a light would wrap all the duelists watching duelist channel and all the duelists/viewers in a special light, sending them to an all duelist world!

Yeah its fine. Me talking just pushes the main storyline along if it makes sense! No matter what you guys do, my commentary will adapt as you guys talk. My commentary isn't supposed to sway judgment, but to just make the game a story. If its confusing, I would drop it. I thought it would be cool xD.

In which it can and has happened before, but having the association to wolves outside the game doesn't increase the odds of them being wolves inside the game. ZombieWolf is a prefect example from prior games.

I've never even thought about any wolf related things in their account. I shall have to watch out for this as well.
It's a good thing to look out for, but at the same time it's a bit too easy. "He's got a wolf in his sig/avi set. He's a wolf! -lynch-" And he turns out to be the governor. We're all under equal suspicion here, with or without wolf related things in our stuff.

More info: I would like to warn everyone that the Super Wolf is at least ten times stronger than a normal wolf. Finding it will be key. Makes me think of a popular Exodia line.

Oh yay, I got on just in time. :o Forgive me if I do something stupid. I've never done this before, so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm a quick learner!

Day Phase 1 has begun! People have already noticed the game has been "slightly" altered from past versions of Wolf. I'm hoping the change isn't a hassle, and hope the roleplay portion added is a fresh idea that be accepted and well liked. Basically, if you find the Super Wolf/Wolves, you'll get the happy ending. Depending on who you vote out determines how the Wole XXXVI roleplay portion adapts and unfolds. The more civilians eliminated, the harder it becomes for everyone. I'm trying to make this game tricky, but also easy on myself due to my computer limitations.

You have 24 hours to talk and begin the game like usual! Enjoy, but remember this isn't a normal wolf. Traps are around every corner that changes the game. Adapt and conquer!

Life Points: 11 players/3 special players/3 wolves/1 super wolf.

Exodia: Now that it began.. my wolves make sure the duelists don't find you! If they do, then the Super Wolf will destroy everything anyways.

Anyway, stating this again because I will be very less active: I probably can't participate on outside communication so don't vote for me if I don't reply... getting too busy. I will do my monkey business here instead of going through PMs or other means of communication.

Its a 48 hour Phase that has no voting and you are able to discuss the game with all of the players. It is a great phase to gain evidence and a good time for inactive players to get a chance to participate!

Also I would like to ask Elphaba more about why she voted on RyuTama, you wrote that there had to be more reason behind why she voted on you - but it was the first dayphase, what exact reason would you expect there to be? Also, you have played wolf before, you should know that the first dayphase usually is just random-voting.


I haven't played this game that long. Yeah I was around for the first few but not for a while after that because of school. But I have to believe that everyone is a suspect in this game. So I just picked someone who sounded suspicious to me. That's all. I'm not the greatest player ever so it was a guess. A really bad guess but still.

I guess I understand. I guess I'm just getting frustrated since I haven't played in ages, and anyone who knows me personally knows I'm kinda paranoid. But that's only cause the world IS out to get me.

Just questions in general I guess. If there is one thing I learned from watching tv it's that asking a lot of questions will make some people crack because they can't handle the pressure of so many questions.

I would like to ask DenjaX how his theory is going for him, condering RyuTama was a townie. What exactly is it that you will do with the hosts writing? Will you vote on everyone that is mentioned or how do you mean that you will do with the write ups? I think the host has mentioned quite many right now, what will you do - vote on them all because one of them -may- have a power role?I am right so far. I am only using the first post as my reference, I have no intention of using the other roleplays to influence my judgement.

Yeah its fine. Me talking just pushes the main storyline along if it makes sense! No matter what you guys do, my commentary will adapt as you guys talk. My commentary isn't supposed to sway judgment, but to just make the game a story. If its confusing, I would drop it. I thought it would be cool xD.
