Wolf XXXVI Sign-Ups: Duel Monsters

Welcome to Wolf XXXVI, aka my first wolf hosted on AF. Duel Monsters(Yugioh) aired in America in 2001 , and even today is still one of the biggest trading card games around. Like it or hate it, Yugioh could very well leak into the 2020s.

In a distant world with traps and powerful creatures around every corner, the members of AF enter the world of Duel Monsters. Equipped with their brains, the residents of AF will realize four members that they all considered friends are actually hidden wolves, plan to devour the heroes, and bring a rebirth to Exodia! If Exodia is reborn, the Duel Monsters will be able to invade Earth and bring an end to mankind.

This Wolf will introduce the SUPER WOLF, but for now let us consider him/her a mystery. What powers does this wolf have? Find out soon.

Special Ability Players: This game will have only three players with effects.

1: Man Eater Bug: Destroy any player in the game, but by doing so will also remove you from the game. If in the case there is one wolf and you in the game, the humans will win.

2: Monster Reborn: Bring back any dead player back into the game for 1 day and night phase. The reborn player cannot vote, but can post in the thread. A wolf cannot be reborned.

3: Destiny Hero Doom Lord: Disable any player for 1-3 day/night phases(you're choice, but power can only be activated before final eight.

- No posting in night phase.
- Eliminated players cannot post, but are allowed one final goodbye message.
- You are not allowed to inform others you are a wolf/special ability player.
- Arguments will be allowed.

Day Phase lasts 24 hours.

Im not sure I follow but do you mean how others have done it in their games previously? Usually outside communication has not been allowed.



When outside communication is allowed: You can discuss the wolfgame (who you think is a wolf, who you will vote on exc) with the other players outside the game thread, in the chatroom, in private messages to eachothers exc.

Yes, but it puts non-chatters at a disadvantage because the chatters are always in chat. Granted, non-chatters can join the chat at anytime to converse, but like in Anime Forum's case it may be a hassle to get into chat for some reason.
At the same time it opens the VM's and PM's for outside communication as well. So chat isn't necessary.

Still there are rules for outside communication. Like not asking or giving out roles.

It -was- allowed in the past games, but ended after Wolf: Pokemon when the town went around PMing all players to ask what pokemon they were. Since outside communication was abused, it ended.

I understand that, but thanks for the concern man! I'll allow it, but if I catch drift that it is becoming a problem then yeah, it will be automatically removed. I will also have rules on the system when I put the game thread up to make sure it isn't abused.

We'll see. This could either make or break this game, but gotta try. Y'know?

Sadly, I have no access to internet those days. Then again, think many of the previous games I had a day or two per week I couldn't get online.
