Help! Need to identify an anime (might be a manga)

Hello guys.

First of all I must apologize - I'm not a massive anime fan, but I need the help of someone who is!

It's a random request, but I need to identify an anime by one of the characters. I think it's a fairly well known one, because I'm sure i've seen figures for it on forbidden planet before...

Anyway, the thing about this anime is the characters are all human with human faces (and female?) but they also have 'animal like' arms and legs. And also they have tails. Not much to go on, but someone must know what this is??????

First of all, this really probably belongs in the general anime forum... Second, do you have any other details? Because, that's really not a whole lot to go off of. Do you know any details about the main characters or setting?

Just a guess: A certain scientific railgun? I know the show has a nun on it.

Hmm...it reminds me of Felicia from Darkstalkers (which is a video game, btw, but it also has an OVA and a manga) when she is dressed as a nun. Here's is a pic (I'm putting it in spoiler quotes because it is slightly risque...which is hard to avoid with Felicia):

Although, there are only a few true "animal" characters in that game, so I'm not sure if I am right.
