24hour a day stream. See what the people over in North Korea see on TV (and in fact are limited by government to this one station).

It only has "on the air" time during certain hours. At other times it broadcasts a "test pattern" and plays a constant 1000Hz tone.

Copy the below URL, open Windows Media Player and press ctrl-U, and paste it into the resulting URL dialog box. Press enter and watch actual North Korean TV live!

You can also use VLC player (use ctrl-N instead of ctrl-U, to get the URL dialog box in VLC). With VLC you can also save it to a file, a good idea, just in case North Korea decides to further isolate itself from the rest of the world and stops all OUTGOING communications just as they have already stopped all INCOMING communications.

yeah.. It's interesting... They are pretty closed off though and thats how the government there wants it.

Apparently they are going to let foreigners have internet access from their phones or something. You probably still need an official North Korean guide with you though. Atleast you did back when I went to South Korea 6 or 7 years ago. Everything I read about going into the North said you needed that. After applying and being accepted that is.

Oh and kind of off topic. (still North Korea though)
