How to write lyrics?

I have written lyrics and submitted them but it seems that my written lyrics are denied. I have taken the japanese test and it hasn't been checked.
what is footnotes by the way ? what should i write in footnotes collumn.

Footnotes is when you want to comment on something in the lyrics.

I've just graded your test and... I'm afraid I can't let you put up translations, since you can't make the lines join into a complete sentence which makes them coherent.
