Captain Sparrow searches for his beloved Black Pearl in a quest to pilfer a town or two, and to discover the world's most valuable treasure, possibly recruiting more manpower to crew the ship. Meanwhile Lord Beckett searches for Jones' ship, the Flying Dutchman in a quest to extinguish piracy forever. Who will prevail in this this conflict between pirates and the high authority?

Rules (Read them):
Day Phase
- This will be the time when players discuss the proceedings of the game and decide who to lynch.
- Every player must vote during this phase, using the formats [Vote Lynch XXX] and [Change Vote Lynch XXX]. Please remember to bold your vote. There will be no "No Lynch" option on Day One.
- Any ties will be broken by with a random generator or by the Captain.
- If a player fails to vote but has posted at least twice during the day phase, that will count as a self-vote.
- CONCERNING MODBLOCKS/KILLS: If you fail to post at least twice during the Day Phase, I will enforce the following penalties.
First offence: You will be mentioned and I will also send you a warning via PM.
Second offence: I will modblock you for the following cycle, disabling all active and passive abilities.
Third offence: You will be modkilled, eliminating you from the game. I sure hope no one gets modkilled. Otherwise, it kills all the fun and disrupts other players. ._.
- Day Phases last about 24 hours. But if I’m not around due to events in real life, phase will be extended. If that happens, I’m sorry.
- Day actions are handled on a “first sent, first performed” basis. All actions must be sent to me via PM.
- Occasionally, some areas can be explored (there will be a post indicating some areas can be explored), and if explored by the right person, an advantage will be gained. If explored by the wrong person, then nothing will happen. PM me. It will be on first come, first served basis.


Night Phase
- Posting during the night phase is allowed, as long as it doesn’t concern the game. Please keep it to minimum though. I will not allow too much spamming. I will allow lynched/dead players to talk at nights as zombies. ._.
- Each Night Phase lasts about 24 hours. However I may extend or shorten it due to moderator excusable reasons.
- Every night action that is not roleblocked will still be performed, even if the players of those actions are being killed.


Miscellaneous
- This is a closed-set up game. Roles will only be revealed as the game progresses.
- Leave the game discussion in the game thread. There will be NO OUTSIDE COMMUNICATION. The only exception applies to Wolves, in which case I will provide the QT link along with role PMs. Players will automatically be modkilled if I somehow caught you in outside communication with other players. No mercy. ._.
- If you are killed, you are allowed a reaction post concerning your death. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, continue to post hints or comments that may influence the votes and or actions of living players.
- PLEASE BE AS ACTIVE AS POSSIBLE! Remember that if you don’t post within 3 day phases (approximately 6 days), you will be modkilled. If you have a legitimate reason to be inactive, please inform me ahead of time.
- ROLE CLAIMING AND ROLE REVEALING IS NOT ALLOWED. THIS INCLUDES REVEALING OTHERS.
- Faction-claiming is allowed to a certain degree. But do so at your own risk. :p
- Role-hinting is strongly discouraged, at least for the first few phases. If I get your hint right away, you're doing it wrong.
- EDITING IS NOT ALLOWED, only for typos and the like. Please double post if you want to add a new sentence or quote.
- Spamming/trolling/arguing/flaming is allowed to an extent, but if it gets too bad I will intervene.
- Do not share any PMs that I have sent you with other people. You will be instantly modkilled if found doing so. Savvy?
- You can do the pirate talk here, as long as people understand. :p
- Pirates and Enemies can both recruit Independents. Once they successfully join a faction, they can assist the faction. If they do not join a faction, they become a regular indie and can choose to help either faction.
- Once they are recruited, they will only officially become pirates/enemies after the recruiting cycle ends. Should the game end before their cycle ends, they will stay independent and will win if they survive. If the game ends after their recruiting cycle ends, they will become pirates/enemies and will win with pirates/enemies.

Win Conditions:
Town/Pirates: Destroy all wolves and any Independents trying to eliminate you. Recruit Independents to join your side.
Wolves/Nemesis: Destroy townies until their numbers are equal or less than your own, and any Independents trying to eliminate you. Recruit Independents to join your side.
Independents/ Enemies or Allies?: Wins if they survive till the end.

First off, there are 12 players in the game so I assume there are 2 wolves, 8 townies and 2 independents.

Aleyna was revealed a green named pirate so it should be safe to assume she's a good guy.

My death would not beneficial for both factions because I am neither a wolf nor a townie. Killing me would be a waste of time. In fact, it will be your loss because I can still be used as a voter. A confrontation between Gibbs and Hector Barbossa. Barbossa feels that Gibbs is hindering him in the quest to rid of Sparrow. He has tied Gibbs to a wooden pole. Their faces are illuminated by the flames of the fire.

"I'm inclined to kill you now, Gibbs, without so much as a word," Hector Barbossa stares unkindly to Gibbs, his face menacing.

Gibbs stares back at Barbossa, his face bewildered. "What's in it for ya? Ye will gain nothing by doing so."

"Aye, 'cept for the pleasure of getting rid of a cockroach." Barboss smirks, ponting the gun at the Gibbs.

Gibbs' expression does not falter. "Jack will come to get ye, mark my word."

A deafening gunshot is heard, ringing through the dead of the night.

Fallen to Death!

Rumours have it that the Black Pearl drops anchor at the dreaded Isla de Muerta, the island that cannot be found, except by those who already knows where it is.

Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew brave the murky, bleak weather to sail to the island. On the horizon is a dark, ominous shape: Isla de Muerta. Mostly sheer unfriendly cliffs shoot straight into the water. It is surrounded by a slate of gray sea.

“Land ho! Land ho! Land ho! Land ho!” Cotton’s parrot flapped his wings eagerly.

Jack grasps the rail with both his hands, his expression a mixture of excitement and alertness. “Haul your winds, and keep to the weather of the island,” Captain Sparrow shouted to his crew, expertly driving the ship closer towards the shore of Isla de Muerta, setting anchor at a safe distance from all the jutting rocks.

The ship lies at anchor in the distance. Together, Jack and Will row away from the larger vessel in a small longboat towards the rocky shore. The rush or a waterfall grows louder.

Will is instantly on alert. “What’s that?”

“Depends,” Jack replies nonchalantly, slowly rowing the boat.

Will squints his eyes. “On what?”

“On whether the stories are all true. If they are, that’s a waterfall that spills over at high tide, with a sharp drop to underground lagoon. If not,” Jack rows the boat calmly, noticing the moving water tugging on the long boat, “well, too late,” and they are sucked in, the boat rushes forward, plunging into the darkness.

Will feels disoriented from the plummet. “I don’t feel too good,” Will’s grasp on the side of the boat loosens. The wind from the gravity of falling slaps his face ferociously.

“Do not let go, no matter what happens!” Jack shouts, but to Will, his voice is heard far away.

Will’s fingers slip away. He’s falling into the dark abyss. Will meets his untimely demise.

The Oracle Appears!

Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew sail to Tia’s shack to recruit her to join his force. The bayou was filled with fireflies glowing in the darkness of the night. The slow moving stream and the quietness of the night give an eerie atmosphere. Perched on top of a tree trunk is an iguana, eyeing the small boat with Sparrow’s crew while occasionally slurping the fireflies dancing in front of his eyes.

“No worries, mates. Tia Dalma and I go way back. Thick as thieves. Nigh inseparable we are. Were. Have been before,” Jack’s face contorts in remembrance. He swats at the incoming fireflies. The small boat arrives at Tia’s shack. “Mind the boat.” Jack orders, getting up to enter Tia’s shack.

“Mind the boat,” Pintel says, following Jack.

“Mind the boat,” Marty says, following Pintel.

“Mind the boat,” Cotton’s parrot says, following Pintel, leaving Cotton behind to watch over the boat.

Jack cautiously enters Tia’s shack, pushing the door open slowly. Near the inside of the shack door hangs a live snake, moving slowly, hissing. Tia is seen sitting at a table, looking up from her crab claws and notices Jack in the doorway.

“Jack Sparrow!” Tia says, smiling.

“Tia Dalma!” Jack hoots back, his smile a forced one.

“I always know de wind was goin’ to blow you back to me one day,” Tia speaks, smiling still.

“We’ve come for help and we’re not leaving without it.” Jack says, walking towards Tia’s table.

“What…service…may I do you? Hmmm? You know I demand payment,” Tia stares at Jack expectantly.

Jack whistles once, and Marty brings in the monkey in a cage. “I brought payment. Look!” Jack cocks his pistol, shoots Jack the monkey. The bullet has no effect, but the monkey chatters off in fright. “An undead monkey! Top that!” Jack says in triumph.

“The payment is fair. I shall lend you my help.”

Escape From The Gallows!

Meanwhile, James Norrington arrives at the bustling Port Royal. However as soon as there is word that he sets foot on Port Royal, he is immediately approached by Cutler Beckett’s men.

“Arrest him,” Beckett orders. The men immediately apprehended Norrington.

“What is the meaning of all this? On what charges?” says Norrington, facing Beckett, struggling to free himself from the grasp of the two men.

“The warrant of the arrest of one James Norrington. I believe you are a Mister James Norrington,” Beckett gives a sinister smirk.

“And if I am?” Norrington challenges Beckett.

Beckett walks slowly to Norrington, savouring the taste of power from successfully taking in Norrington into custody. “Perhaps you remember a certain pirate named Jack Sparrow.”

Norrington’s eyes narrowed in recognition. “Spiteful pirate.”

“Ah yes, you do remember. However by an act of idiocy, you release him, and he is now free to roam the land and the sea, to plunder and to pilfer cities and towns along the way. Or is it not? It just seems to me that you are a companion of Jack’s, and so your punishment is, regrettably, death.” Beckett’s smirk widens as he sees his men take away Norrington to the prison to have an appointment with the gallows. He turns on his heels and leaves Norrington to his men.

“I will not accept defeat, not by a certain pirate who ruins my life. I’ve chased the man across the Seven Seas. The pursuit cost me my crew, my commission, and my life. To have him by the blade of my sword is my mission, and I will not be stopped here,” soon as James Norrington says this, a newfound strength appears, and he expertly draws a heavy blow to one of the two men who shackles him. The man doubles over in pain. Norrington bashes the head of the other stunned man who watched as his comrade falls.

James Norrington escapes to the port, successfully avoiding the pursuit of guards along the way. He sails to Tortuga on a random ship, hoping for the best of luck in finding a Captain Jack Sparrow, the worst, or the best pirate he has ever known.

Although I have this feeling he's the one who recruited me. I will thank him for that if that's the case. Now my plan will work. By the time 4th cycle ends, the game will finish and I will achieve my objective.

The failed night kill still baffled me. We might have another protector on the loose or perhaps a bulletproof for one attack only fellow. That obstructed my calculations on the estimated time the game will finish that's why I have to lynch this inactive.

Not So Lucky, Missy!

Elizabeth Swann has to leave Port Royal to save herself from Lord Beckett. There is a warrant for her arrest due to a certain Captain Jack Sparrow. She has been lucky that the lord has decided that she will have house arrest before she will be hung on the gallows. Slipping away unnoticed is easy as she dresses herself as a maid. Once outside the mansion, she disguises herself as a man, slips away into a ship at the dead of the night, stays in the cabin, determined to get away from the port. She does not know where the ship will lead her to.

As the sun rises, the ship sails away in the good weather. Time passes and the ship sails into the open ocean. Elizabeth goes unnoticed by the crews. They are too busy drinking rum to notice someone, a woman, is on board.

However, things do not always stay smooth. In the distance, the rumbling of the Kraken is heard. Elizabeth stays silent. Apparently the crew hears it too. Their ears perk and they are instantly on alert. Elizabeth remembers Gibbs’ warning about the Kraken, “Well, if you believe such things, there's a beast does the bidding of Davy Jones. A fearsome creature with giant tentacles that suction your face clean off. And drag an entire ship past the crushing darkness. The Kraken! They say the stench of its breath is like - ooh! Imagine: The last thing you know on God's green earth is the roar of the Kraken, and the reeking odor of a thousand rotting corpses. If you believe such things.”

Elizabeth believes it to be true. Things are happening too fast, and she can feel the Kraken’s tentacles hitting on the deck of the ship, and the ship is rocking wildly. Above deck, the crew is shouting at each other, trying to drive away the Kraken, but in vain.

Soon after, the ship was demolished, and with it, so is Elizabeth.

It is a bleak scene in Port Royal. All of the citizens who are accused of piracy or are involved in any act of piracy have an appointment with the gallows. They are shackled and imprisoned without so much as asking if they are guilty or not. Albear stands among the prisoners and walks up to the gallows.

The officer says in a monotone, official voice, “In order to affect a timely halt to deteriorating conditions, and to ensure the common good, a state of emergency is declared for these territories. By decree of Lord Cutler Beckett, duly appointed representative of his majesty the King. By decree, according to marshal law the following statutes are temporarily amended. Right to assembly, suspended.”The lever is pulled and the prisoners are hanged.

“Right to habius corpus, suspended.” Another row of prisoners are hanged.

“Right to legal council, suspended.” Yet another row of prisoners are hanged.

“Right to verdict by a jury of peers, suspended.” Another row of prisoners are hanged, all die by the gallows.

“By decree all persons found guilty of piracy, or aiding a person convicted of piracy, or associating with a person convicted of piracy shall be sentenced to hang by the neck until dead.”

Haha, that is no wonder at all that you think that. If you remember from the sign up thread I wrote that this game starts/ends (or I asked if I had "translated" the time right) at 4 in the afternoon for me. I get home little before that. And then it's dead quiet in here, since it's night over at your place. In the earlier games I havn't worked, have been home. That's why. :)

Because for starters you are lurking a lot? Writing something, like asking if someone that have died is a bad guy (even if you have played this game before), and then disappering again. Besides, there isn't that much to go on in this game, since there arn't so many pages, so I mostly go on the feeling I have. I thought that you or November where the last wolf, in that order, but now she is dead so it must be you. I thought, before Daken was proved indie, that Maru was that, but now I think she is that. So you are the only one left. :/

I'm talking to whoever answers, when exactly does Daken die? Assuming there's an independent and wolf left this is how the game could go, if they are lynched then we lose, same if a townie is lynched, the wolf has to die today or we lose. Now, all of you make your best argument on why you're not a wolf and why I should believe you because I get to decide who dies. If I would have just used my ability this night phase we wouldn't be having this problem but I didn't, so too bad. ^_^
