Costume VS Cosplay

With Holoween comming up, I was wondering...

What would you rather do on the holiday season? Costume or Cosplay?

Depends on the crowd. If most of the people that you will be around know anime, then cosplay. If most the people that you will be around have never seen an episode of anime, then just costume.

Cosplaaay. It gives me a place to show off my animeness other than the occasional convention >w< Plus I've been cosplaying for Halloween for four years this year so it's sort of turned into a habit...

Cosplay. Everyone puts on a costume that they bought at walmart or something, even some of the adults. Its nothing compared to cosplay.
Also, cosplay is short for ”costume play”.... and I'm glad you kept the word exclusive to anime/video games.
