Ah, the Pillows..Or dare I say the best band (in my opinion) from the country of Japan...As many, or most people outside Japans boarders, i discovered them through FLCL (#1 anime of all time btw), and I just can't get enough...

I use pillows to sleep... I lay my head on them =P
They are a band which was promoted by an anime... Just the same pop-rock as most bands that "rock" to most people are...
If you want to listen to real j-music, go listen to Dir En Grey or X-Japan or Miyavi...

The Pillows was mostly discovered by people outside japans boarders through anime, that is true, but that does not mean that their music is like everything elses music....The Pillows is a band who were great before they made the music for FLCL, and they are still great...Each of their albums is different from each other, and they still continue to reinvent themselves as of today...But if you don't like them, you don't like them...that's that..
