AS FOR x-2, DAMN it! i wasted 7,000 php just for some silly girl power. I like yuna in 10 better, she's more yuna like. And x-2 ruined blitzball, it is a bit mess already in 10.
nah, 8 is for me. The characters, the story.. i wouldve vote 7 but no, i like 8

first place: ff8-the best story, characters
2nd: ff7 the best gme
third: ff9 -- the emotional ff and best music
4th: ff10 -no comment, just cool graphics
5th: ff10-2 -- same as above.

To be honest if it wasnt pay imagine all the dumb people that are under 15 that will join and ruin the game...><;;(not that all are dumb...but you know how the majoirity sometimes act..Starcraft anyone?).

Final Fantasy 7 all the way. It&#39;s not only my favorite in the Final Fantasy series, but my favorite game, for that matter. I really wish they would re-make it for the ps2 (no story line change, just make it look as good as FF10). I just can&#39;t wait unti, the movie comes out......it&#39;s driving me crazy&#33;

Evanescence, you shouldn&#39;t be so harsh just because he didn&#39;t add 6 (or 1-6 for that matter). It was a small mistake, seeing as how the first Final Fantasy that anyone in america really knew about was 7.

Thats quite untrue, there was a pretty huge fanbase for the earlier FFs, and most people the hearald(most not all) FFVII being the best havent played the old ones and critisize it for teh stuipdest of things like graphics.

FFIV gained a huge fan base, as well as FFVI, those were smashing hits and helped define the SNES for what it is, i fail to see how it DID NOT impact anything and isnt famous.

Okay, then I shall correct myself. FF7 is my favorite, so far. Rest assured, I have played FF3, and am going to go and play all the others, that is for sure. Then I will come back, and tell you if my favorite is still 7, okay? (not being mean, sarcastic, or anything else like that, I promise).

I got good news for all of you&#33; They are making a FF7 remake with better graphics. And as far as FF7 goes. THOSE WHO HAVEN&#39;T PLAYER 100s OF HOURS PLAYING IT SHOULDN&#39;T BE ALLOWED TO SEE FF7 ADVENT CHILDREN&#33;&#33;&#33; Glad I got that off my chest.

There is a picture i saw SOMEWHERE of a prequel to FFVII, just that its on cell phones only...i see if i can find it agian....but i heard nothing of FFVII remakes.

Well, the remake also includes the movie Advent Children. I search for the remake information and I get both arguments saying it is being made and not being made.

What i&#39;m getting mostly is: they were going to make another version with voice actors, better music, and graphics, but now they aren&#39;t and won&#39;t say anything else regarding the subject.(They being Squaresoft)

Oh&#33; I think I understand now. People (who were completely ignorant of the wonderful world of Final Fantasy) thought that the movie was the remake&#33; If this is what happened, that explains why the information is so complicated. We&#39;ll just have to wait and see or ask the video game experts&#33; I&#39;ll see if I can&#39;t see for sure what&#39;s going on.

But then I guess that means I don&#39;t know much about this either, just wishful thinking.

Gampersnaz: see if you can&#39;t try getting your hands on the Japanese version of FF7. I&#39;ve been upturning rocks to get it. See there is a rumor that: Squaresoft was pressed for time in the initial translation of the game and were forced to take some things out. It is said that Arieth/Aries can come back and if you were nice to her, she will ask to rejoin the group.

Square Enix saw no reason to remake the game because it still works on the game consoles. It seems like they are completely uninterested in doing the remake, how sad.
