Monster Hunter International starts off with an accountant who has to throw his jerk of a boss out a 30 story window because he turned into a man eating werewolf... and from there it just keeps getting better. I just got volume four...

I got intot he Staked series when I realized that the vampires A: Had all their powers and B: weren't whining about eating people.
My favorite line in the first book is at the end when the main character is blown up. "As soon as I get my body back together I'm going to kick the ass of whoever invented blessed C4. Happy birthday to me."
