I agree with you on that one. What happened to all of the good old kids shows like MSB and TWT and RP?

Haven't really caught that, but I have seen and don't like shows that teach that stupidity and laziness as a good thing.

Any examples? Because... tbh I really don't have any idea which westren cartoon does this... We're much more sensored in the states than Japan.

Yeah, you know how many sexual innuendos there where in cartoons from the 90's? I have a feeling you just didn't grasp them as a kid and haven't gone back and watched some of them. America is much more censored compared to the 90's so I doubt it's as bad as anything you might find from back then. Hell, shows like the Looney Toons have cross dressing, gay kissing and mock inappropriate indecency. Admittedly those shows are over 60 years old but I'm sure just about everyone here watched them as a kid. So introducing kids to kissing at a young age isn't bad. Especially since kids see it in public from time to time. So don't get your knockers in a bunch. It's harmless and people just make it worse then it really is. I mean I grew up watching Bugs Bunny dressing up as a woman and kissing Elmer Fudd (also does this with out the dress) and it hasn't effected me. Just deal with it. It's completely harmless.

Or.....and hear me out.....buuuut.........it could be the fact that they're kids. I didn't listen to my parents half the time when I was a kid. It's completely normal. This can continue through puberty where they can simply outright rebel against their parents.

You must be 15... Kids drown all the time (and I doubt it was really because they were looking for spongebob.. Seriously.)... Your sisters are sisters and thats why they don't respect your parents.. Heck I didn't when I was growing up.. I was a KID.. Now I do, then I didn't give a crap. Had nothing to do with what I watched.

Btw.. Spongebob isn't gay... Just so you know.... .___.

Your mentality, sentence structure suggest otherwise.. And no, that's the parents pushing the blame onto something else out of negligence. Can't believe someone actually believes what the news says anymore. Lol silly person.

well.. ppl instead of people is like the 21st century version of lazy text message talk. Who made fun of you. It's just it's obvious you're lying. If you were really 22, you wouldn't have any idea what's on right now as far as cartoons go. Most of us this age haven't seen anything on CN and Nick in ages. Nor do we think they teach bad things in this day of age. Or believe false reports of a kid drowning to find spongebob. And yes, before I make outrageous claims, I do too check my facts.

Care to prove I don't? There's Google. I type something in check a few sites and get some facts before I make claims. It's not that difficult.

I don't claim to know everything. In fact I know very little compared to some people out there. I just check to make sure something is actually true before claiming it as such. And your free to your opinion but that doesn't mean I'm not free to mine. There's just no evidence that supports that TV makes kids do things. That's like saying I'm more likely to kill someone because I play violent video games.

So was I, whats your excuse now. We have a thing called spell check. Most browsers have an option to have it, works wonders.

So any other shows that teach kids about sex. Cause I still know 0 that do. It's a pretty complicated process.

Awh 50 people.. That's so cute.. And I have over 9,000 people I have to talk to per day. ^__^ and yes they do work about 99% it's close enough. It's your own fault then if you refuse to use them. Soooo about the show that teaches sex, where may I watch?

.......That's also a "cartoon" geared for adults... On ADULT swim.. Shown AFTER hours around or after 11... This is sad..

Kids shouldn't be watching it and parents shouldn't be letting their kids stay up till 11PM. Growing up 7PM was my bedtime.

I remember courage!! That was one of my favorites as a kid :D and you are right it was disturbing :)...Mabey now that's why I have no sense of fear except of my friend jumping out at me from a dark corner :P (I'm always paranoid about that)

That's up to the parents though. They choose what their kids can and cannot watch.

It's not so bad. I think cartoons are pretty harmless compared to other things kids are exposed to. Like when I learned like, 12 kinds of illegal drugs during my D.A.R.E. class in 5th grade.
