Anyone else here learning to use Photoshop?

i just got Photoshop CS5 and omg its so complicated!!!!
but hey, i managed to make this.
looks terrible, but makes me giggle. so it works for me!

Although the signature is amusing, I can see that it is your first time using Photoshop.

I recommend checking out Photoshop Education (http://photoshopeducation.blogspot.com/) for some basic tutorials of how to use Photoshop.
The tutorials were made using Photoshop CS4, but you can still do the tutorials with CS5.

deviantART (http://www.deviantart.com/) is a good place to find resources and tutorials for Photoshop.

Also, talking to people and moderators that post on the AnimeGalleries.Net Forums (http://www.animeforum.com/forumdisplay.php?49-AnimeGalleries.Net-Forums) part of the site would be a good idea.

You don't need crap like Photoshop to shoop your tattoos, just use a better alternative like, Picasa or Paint Shop.

Hey there. ^_^ I see potential from you and don't be so harsh to yourself, at least you got some of the things put down. The moment you're able to post in the art section there, we will have lessons there for you to improve so much with your work. Even though you said it's "horrible", you got your composition, text placement is great, and I see the balance. One thing you need to have is your focal, whatever your focal is, have it stand out. ^_~

Lessons on photoshop will start next week, blue and I will be the teachers there. I really hope to see you there and I promise you that you'll have some fun and learn so much.

you gotta remember. i get confused using MS Word. Computers reeeealy are not my forte. Give me a car making some strange noise, and i'll be able to tell you exactly whats going on. Thats just what i do haha

We prefer the signature/avatar section to be clean. It's not misc.

Yeah, there's a basic Photoshop class coming up in a few weeks, I recommend you join it.
